August 2022 Valley meal
Smaller turnout this month. Don had 24 RSVPs, we sold 29 plates. Down about 10 from last month.
Barry made cold sliced chicken from 4 rotisserie chickens, also made sliced tomatoes, sliced cucumbers and sliced carrots. Calvin brought 5 lb pork barbecue. We had some chicken and about half the barbecue left over. I brought 3 dozen ‘slider’ rolls. Earl brought 2 gallons ice cream. The ice cream was better quality than in the past, Earl has been elected permanent ice cream czar. Keith bought 1 package of full size steam table pans, 2 half size pans, a large bag of paper plates and a large bag of red plastic cups.
We charged $13.00 per plate for the meal.
KSA handled money collection. No problems.
Cleanup after the meal went pretty well. KSA did an excellent job of helping during the meal and afterward.
We are in need of more plastic utensils.

We gave the Rainbow Girls $100 for help with setup, serving and cleanup and as a donation to help the girls with their expenses. Vickie did most of the cleanup while the Valley members were in the meeting.
We should have taken in 29 x $13.00, or $377. After paying expenses, including Rainbow Girls, we had $3.00 left.
